Recently, the supervisor visited some miniature fire stations in the urban area, and found that most of them are operating normally, and some of them have some problems. In early September, the supervisor randomly visited 18 micro fire stations in the urban area, among which, it was found that 4 fire stations had equipment damage and failed to maintain in time. For example, in Santang Community Micro Fire Station and Jinqiao Community Micro Fire Station in Xingning District, the water pumps on the micro fire engines in the stations have been damaged and removed. For example, the Huaqiang Sub-district Office Mini Fire Station and Xinyang Sub-district Office Mini Fire Station in Xixiangtang District are each equipped with two mini fire engines, but at present, only one car is available and the other car has been damaged.

According to the staff of these four mini fire stations, they have reported the problem of equipment damage to the relevant fire departments, but the damaged equipment has not been repaired for a long time.

However, in the past few years, there has not been an electric car fire in Nanning that directly caused death, which is the result. Of course, we are not ignoring the problem. We also face it squarely and gradually improve it in our work. We have realized that we have not completely done this work.

Nanning Fire Rescue Detachment [Mao Zhiyi]: According to the original principle of building a miniature fire station, the municipal level is in charge of the procurement of vehicles and equipment, the county area is in charge of housing and personnel, the township street is in charge, and the fire rescue department is responsible for guidance and dispatch. Then in recent years, we have also seen the maintenance of vehicles and equipment, and the management of township streets is not easy. Three years ago, with the strong support and arrangement of the municipal government, we gave us special funds. Originally, we had such a third-party team to patrol, repair and maintain the miniature fire station every month, but this work started in June, and now the third-party maintenance project has stopped because of irreversible factors. We also consider the maintenance of vehicles and equipment, and the villages and towns really need to be managed.

Nanning Fire Rescue Detachment [Mao Zhiyi]: The fire rescue station in Nanning, which is an ordinary fire rescue station, is required by the state to be on the scene for 5 minutes according to a radius of 5 kilometers. In Nanning’s two five-year plans, we have made great efforts to build 36 fire rescue stations from the original dozen, but it is still far behind the expansion of urban development, so our construction of micro fire stations in township streets is also a supplement to the fire fighting power. If the fire rescue station is only responsible for such a small area, it is ok, then what about our supplementary strength? Our original proposal was to build mini fire stations and fire fighting and rescue forces around the masses for their convenience. At that time, there were also problems of personnel and joint logistics control, but in some places, the protection of personnel and funds may not be in place.
