Shanghai： counterfeit gangs pack red goods to manufacture and sell counterfeit brand-name goods.

CCTV News:Recently, after careful investigation, the Shanghai police cracked a case of manufacturing and selling counterfeit well-known brand bags and clothing.

In May this year, Pudong Branch of Shanghai Public Security Bureau investigated and dealt with an online "online celebrity Store" selling counterfeit "Chanel", "Prada" and other well-known brands in Chengdu, and followed the line to successfully dig out the hidden criminal gangs of production, transportation, warehousing and sales across provinces.

On July 23, with the cooperation of local police, the task force launched a unified network-closing operation in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhejiang, Hangzhou, Wenzhou and other places, arresting 150 suspects in one fell swoop, destroying 18 fake dens, sealing up 13 warehouses, seizing 5 packaging production lines, and seizing a large number of counterfeit brand clothes, bags, shoes, ornaments and raw materials needed for processing. The total value of the items involved exceeded 500 million yuan.

After investigation, criminal gangs headed by Liu and Zhang set up factories in Dongguan, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and bought well-known brand clothing, bags, shoes and accessories from specialty stores for printing and counterfeiting. Liu also opened a studio to build a online celebrity store to carry counterfeit goods.

The case is currently under further investigation.
