Ji Linong, director of the Endocrinology Department of Peking University People’s Hospital and director of Peking University Diabetes Center, said: "According to our previous statistics, if all the expenses for treating diabetes are compared to 100 yuan, only about 20 yuan will be spent on controlling diabetes, and 80% or 80 yuan will be used to treat diabetic complications."

Ji Linong said: "From the quality point of view, because we have both imported insulin and domestic insulin after the collection, we have not observed obvious differences in efficacy and safety of these insulin in clinic."
