People’s Daily Online, Tongren, April 23 (Chen Jiequan) On April 22, 2023, Guizhou Tongren Fanjingshan Marathon started. More than 5,000 runners from home and abroad gathered at Fanjingshan Smart Track to run "Fanshan Water Purification" and experience national fitness.
According to reports, the theme of this event is "Fanshan Water Purification and Wisdom Leading", and two projects, full marathon and half marathon, have been set up. After fierce competition, Ethiopia’s AmanKadiBulli and HiretJemberuGirma won the men’s and women’s half marathon respectively, while domestic athletes Yin Shunjin and Zhang Ting won the men’s and women’s full marathon respectively.
It is worth mentioning that the full marathon men’s and women’s champions and the half marathon men’s and women’s champions all broke the track record of Fanjingshan Marathon.
It is understood that Fanjingshan Smart Track is the first fully enclosed track in China that can host the A2 marathon of China IAAF. It has been selected into six typical smart fitness trail projects in China, and has the timing system certified by IAAF, which can realize the track data, visualization and intelligence. In addition, the track is also equipped with intelligent facilities such as running light belt, automatic induction bathing system, intelligent AED rescue station and intelligent heart rate column, which can hold bicycle, marathon, roller skating and iron third-class competitions and national fitness events.
The starting point of the track is located in Baguanxi, Bijiang District, and the ending point is located in Lianghekou, jiangkou county. One end is connected with Fanjing Mountain, a world natural heritage, and the other end is connected with Zhongnanmen, a national night cultural tourism consumption gathering area. The total length of the track is 43.742 kilometers, passing through 24 villages and 39 bridges, stringing together the "most beautiful scenery" of Baili Jinjiang.
In recent years, relying on the unique ecological advantages and tourism resources, tongren city has vigorously developed mass sports, competitive sports and sports industry with marathon and other sports events as the carrier, and built a number of influential brand events such as Fanjing Mountain Marathon, Fanjing Mountain Mountaineering Competition, Road Cycling Race around Fanjing Mountain and China Dragon Boat Open.
At present, tongren city is making great efforts to create a fitness environment that people are satisfied with, and making Fanjingshan Track a "sports destination" integrating rural revitalization, outdoor sports, sports events and sightseeing.
