During the New Year’s Day, Chen Yi, a member of the Chinese Writers Association, was invited to give a lecture "Kunshan, the geographical and cultural source of Kunqu Opera" in the museum’s open class (the third issue), telling the process of the germination and gradual formation of Kunqu Opera on the banks of Yangcheng Lake, the representative figures and interesting stories.
