During the festival, the two special exhibitions of the Museum of Traditional Chinese Opera and Hundred Drama brought a visual feast full of traditional cultural charm to the audience. With the help of the Palace Museum’s rich collection and profound academic research skills, the exhibition of the cultural relics of the Qing Dynasty’s palace dramas shows the profoundness of the opera culture, and details the development process of the Qing Dynasty’s palace dramas through more than 100 scripts, scores, costumes, props and other cultural relics related to operas collected in the Palace Museum.
Located in the public education department on the second floor, the theme exhibition "Who is like me in the spring-Congratulations on the 20-year tour of the Peony Pavilion" is based on the overall curatorial principle of "new collision", "more extension" and "fine and beautiful". Yu Jiulin, a performance artist of Kunqu Opera, and Xu Peihong, the exclusive photographer of the youth version of Peony Pavilion, have a new vision in the new space where Kunqu Opera originated, reappearing the love and beauty of the youth version of Peony Pavilion in a new way, bringing a new artistic collision to the audience.

During the New Year’s Day, Chen Yi, a member of the Chinese Writers Association, was invited to give a lecture "Kunshan, the geographical and cultural source of Kunqu Opera" in the museum’s open class (the third issue), telling the process of the germination and gradual formation of Kunqu Opera on the banks of Yangcheng Lake, the representative figures and interesting stories. This lecture attracted a large number of audience to come to the scene to experience this cultural feast, soak in the trickle of traditional Chinese opera culture, and appreciate the precipitation of history and beauty. At the same time, around the theme of New Year’s Day, the museum launched the activities of "non-legacy blooming, hand-made welcoming New Year" and "Qiyun New Year Kunshan has a play", which attracted many parents and children to participate and personally felt the unique charm of traditional culture.
