"Mountain Spring Lake and River City" is a unique urban resource endowment in Jinan. The ancient city of Jinan was formed in the 12th century. Jinan has also completed the restoration and protection projects of the western city wall site of Mingfu, the bell tower temple platform, Qifengqiao Street, Wangfuchi Street and Mashi Street.

Focusing on strengthening the overall protection and upgrading of the ancient city, Jinan insists on paying equal attention to protection and utilization, explores new paths for the protection, repair and activation of historical buildings, and implements the protection and renewal of Furong Street-Baihuazhou and Jiangjunmiao, enriching the format of the ancient city and rejuvenating the ancient city.

At the same time, Jinan also promoted the transformation of infrastructure in the area. Last year, with the help of "Zhongyou" strategy, the urban renewal project of Jinan ancient city was officially launched.
